The Nav Durga Group is a leading manufacturer of sustainable agro-residue called biomass pellets, providing a certified and carbon-neutral alternative to fossil fuels. By converting agricultural waste such as mustard straw, rice husk, sugarcane bagasse, and cotton stalk into high-density, clean-burning pellets, we reduce air pollution, supports farmers, and fuels India’s transition to renewable energy. With superior calorific value (3800–4200 Kcal/kg), low ash content (≤5%), and moisture content below 10%, the pellets are engineered to global standards (ISO 17225:2014), serving as an efficient drop-in replacement for coal in industrial boilers, furnaces, and thermal power plants.
Our Vision: To be the cornerstone of India's renewable energy ecosystem, driving the transition from fossil fuels to sustainable bioenergy for a cleaner environment and a self-reliant economy.
Our Mission: Our mission is to transform agro-waste into high-quality biomass pellets, eradicating stubble burning, improving air quality, reducing dependence on imported coal, and fostering rural prosperity through farmer income and green job creation.
Our expansion is not just geographical it is a calculated plan to become a volume leader in the biomass energy sector. Nav Durga group is leveraging the combined output of all five plants and implement advanced operational efficiencies to achieve the goal of producing 100000 MT/Month of biomass pellet.
Our pellets are manufactured under stringent conditions to ensure superior performance, high calorific value, and minimal residue. They are the ideal drop-in replacement for coal in industrial boilers, furnaces, and thermal applications.
Nav Durga uses advanced grinding, drying, densification (pelletizing), and cooling technology to maintain integrity and quality, we supply them durable jumbo bags (500-1000 kg) or 15-25 kg bags to safeguard product quality during transit and storage. Our pellets conform to ISO 17225:2014 standards for non-woody pellets and undergo regular third-party lab testing for consistent quality.
Parameter | Specification | Benefit to You |
---|---|---|
Diameter | 6 mm, 8 mm, or 10 mm (Standard is 8mm) | Uniform size for consistent combustion and easy handling in automated feeding systems. |
Length | 3-5 times the diameter (approx. 15-40 mm) | Prevents bridging in hoppers and ensures efficient burning. |
Moisture Content | ≤ 10% | Higher calorific value, more energy per kg, reduced smoke, and efficient combustion. |
Gross Calorific Value (GCV) | 3800 - 4200 Kcal/kg | High energy output, comparable to low-grade coal, ensuring process efficiency. |
Ash Content | ≤ 5% | Low slagging, reduces maintenance downtime for boiler cleaning. |
Bulk Density | 600 - 750 kg/m³ | Cost-effective transportation and storage. |
Volatile Matter | 65 - 75% | Ensures easy ignition and stable combustion. |
Sulphur Content | < 0.1% | Extremely low SOx emissions, making it an environmentally friendly fuel. |
